Pre-applicant preparation program for Roma pupils and youth to access in universities
The SSDID is the only roma organization in Bulgaria that supports and implements projects related to access to higher education in Bulgaria. The applicant student preparation program of the SSDID is the only opportunity for excellent and promising high school students and young people of Roma identity to receive moral and financial support for being properly prepared to the entrance exams to the state-owned universities in the country – a preparation that is crucial for taking these highly competitive exams. Since 2005, the SSDID provides financial support to Roma applicants who have high grades in their high school diplomas, so as to enable them to successfully take the university entrance exams and to continue their education.
